Do not open, install, or use unwanted goods. Opening, installing, or using goods counts as acceptance, and such goods are then non-refundable and non-returnable.

Statutory right to return (online purchases only):
You have a statutory right to return unopened goods purchased from Callaghans Electrical within 14 (fourteen) days of delivery. If you are not ordering a replacement item, a return charge will apply as outlined below. -
Notification of return:
You must notify us of your wish to return the item within 14 (fourteen) days of delivery, stating the date of delivery. -
Return costs:
The cost of returning unwanted goods is at the end user’s expense. Refunds will be reimbursed minus the return fee:-
Standard items under 30kg: €10 via DPD

Washing machines and items of similar size: €50

American fridge freezers and Ranges: €90

Multiple items: return fees are cumulative (e.g., an unwanted washing machine and tumble dryer would incur €50 + €15 for the second item).

Special order items:
If your sales adviser has stated that an item is a special order item (ordered specifically for you and not kept in stock), such items cannot be refused once the order has been placed. Please double-check sizes and specifications before purchase. If you cancel a special order, a charge may be incurred. -
Methods of return:
You may return goods:-
By your own means to Callaghans Electrical, Letterkenny Retail Park, Co. Donegal

By requesting collection by us (a collection fee may be incurred; goods will be collected at the soonest available time).

Duty of care:
You have a duty of care while the goods are in your possession. We reserve the right to charge for any damage occurring during this period. -
Re-packaging / re-stocking fees:
We reserve the right to apply a re-packaging or re-stocking fee at the store’s discretion under the following conditions:-
Goods are returned as new but incomplete (e.g., missing components)

Goods are missing or have damaged original packaging

Cancellation was requested outside of the 14-day period

Non-returnable items:
We do not accept returns and will not provide refunds under the following conditions:-
Goods are in any condition other than ‘as new’

Goods have been installed and/or used

Cables or components have been cut or terminated

Refunds:
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date, depending on payment method, and minus applicable return fees. -
Euronics.ie purchases:
Any items purchased from euronics.ie cannot be returned in-store to Callaghans Electrical.

⚠️ Damaged or Faulty Goods

Report damage within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

Do not install damaged goods, as installation counts as acceptance and voids return eligibility.

If your item is faulty, a manufacturer inspection will be required on-site before a replacement is arranged.

If approved for replacement:

Installation is not covered.

The faulty appliance must be disconnected and pulled out prior to delivery of the replacement.

Faulty items may need to be returned to the manufacturer. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Items purchased via euronics.ie cannot be returned in-store to Callaghan's Electrical.
💳 Refunds

Once your return is inspected and approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Refunds are typically issued within 30 days of cancellation.

Sale items are non-refundable.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, and may be deducted from your refund if applicable.
🔁 Exchanges
